Auction Updates: Summer 2020

While institutions grapple with ‘the new normal’ in the wake of the Covid-19 global pandemic, plans and schedules have been subject to weekly, and sometimes daily, changes. Nowhere does this seem truer than at auction. Photography auctions that had been scheduled for April were shifted to June, then back to April, then auction themes switched around and then changed completely. Preliminary calendars for the spring auction season have been, almost completely, rewritten, so here is a newly formed schedule for the summer auction season.

If you missed some of these last minute spring auctions you can view the results of the Walker Evans auction [here], or From Pictorialism to Modernism auction results [here].
