Autumn Auctions

Though summer is still in full swing and the thought of the oncoming drop in temperature and shorter days is hardly an exciting prospect, it does mean that a return to photography auctions is on its way.

The autumn auctions include the final batch of Photographs auctions – slated for October, while a smattering of mixed-department auctions is due for September. The annual Made in Britain auction is due for its second session by Sotheby’s in early September while a sister auction Scottish Art is due a week later – both with photographic lots on offer.

These are currently preliminary dates that may be subject to change, and will be updated with any further auctions and links as and when they are announced:

23-24 October – L’Univers Lalanne, Sotheby’s Paris

25 October – Photographs, Phillips London

29 October – Gold: The Midas touch, Sotheby’s London

November

5 November – Photographs, Christie’s Paris
