Sotheby’s Arthur Brandt’s Collection Auction Results

Yesterday, Sotheby’s Paris held an auction of over 60 lots from the collection of American collector Arthur Brandt who has been collecting paper-based art for several decades. In the auction, there were photographic works from artists such as Man Ray and Edward Steichen with estimates ranging from €1,500 to €8,000.

The auction came to a close on Saturday afternoon with a sales total of €2,005,627.

The photograph with the highest hammer price was Edward Steichen’s Lotus, Mount Kisco, New York, 1915 which had an estimate of €6,000 to €8,000 and sold for €12,500.
