Upcoming Auctions; Winter 2020

As the final quarter of the year rumbles to a close, Christie’s and Sotheby’s have both decided to host auctions in what is usually a very quiet time of year for photography auctions.

There are three auctions on offer including a Photographs auction from Christie’s Paris. Sotheby’s bring two offerings of photographs from private collections including the vast collection of Ginny Williams. View more about each auction by clicking on the auction titles.

27 November – 4 December – Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection, Sotheby’s, New York

14 December – A Grand Vision: The David H. Arrington Collection of Ansel Adams Masterworks, Sotheby’s, New York

15 December – Four Decades: In Celebration of AIPAD, Sotheby’s, New York

Though it is unlikely any further auctions will be scheduled between now and the new year, any new additions will be added to this post.
